Inauguration of individual exhibition "So close and yet so far" in The Netherlands

After being selected for the ARE Holland residence in Enschede, the pandemic made it impossible to attend personally. Instead, the project evolved into sending a robot rover that I controlled from Monterrey, inhabiting, exploring and coexisting from the physical and electronic possibilities that the situation and the technology allowed. This experiment as a resident artist from a robot also addresses the alterations in the human experience due to the untimely increase in the use of the internet as a substitute space in times when public space was not accessible. The exhibition with the documentation of this experience opens this July 10th, 2021 at 5:00 PM (Dutch time) at XPO Project Space.

Visual Arts Encounter in Chihuahua (MX)

Many thanks to the Cultural Institute of Chihuahua for the invitation to participate in the "Luis Y. Aragón" Visual Art Encounter last February. With the formidable "Paso del Norte" Cultural Center of Ciudad Juárez as our venue, I see this event as nothing less than a step forward in the promotion of culture and art exchanges as instruments for the reinforcement of a communitarian identity. An excellent experience not only for the event itself, but for having the opportunity to know the city and getting in touch with many other guests from northern Mexico.
