A series of mobile sculptures created in 2006. With them, two main topics are explored:
1)The nature of music composition in its condition as a sequence of sounds and silence generated by devices designed to work autonomously and which resulting "melodies" are product of their interpretation of external stimulation such as light, wind and movement. 2) The speed of recent tech advances and the way in which some times they get out of their context, resulting in devices that exceed the capability of their creators and users to understand and control them. |
